Thunderbolt Farm is a tiny regenerative farm on the edge of the Powerstock hills in west Dorset. This project, ongoing since 2012, is an attempt to husband these precious acres in a way that is productive and nature friendly, creating multi layered habitats of complexity across an area the size of what is an average field in England.

There are meadows, pockets of woodland and scrub, as well as emerging wood pasture and farm ponds.  There is an orchard, a productive tiddy patch, withy beds and a small flock of Pedigree Gotland sheep.

Thunderbolt Farm produces small amounts of knitting yarn, sheep skins, and hogget meat from the Thunderbolt Gotlands, as well as will ow for basket making, meadow hay, vegetables, flowers and cider.
